Fox News Has Held Number One Spot For Surprising Number Of Years

The Daily Caller reports:
Fox News Channel has held the number one spot in cable news for over 16 years, according to a Tuesday report.

Fox News hosts three of the five most watched cable news programs in the U.S. “Hannity” was the most watched, averaging an audience of 3.2 million; “Tucker Carlson Tonight” came in third place. “The Ingraham Angle” ranked fourth and “Special Report with Bret Baier” was fifth. All said shows average between 2.5 million and 2.9 million viewers a night, according to The Washington Times, which received the numbers from Nielsen Media Research.

MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show” placed second and was the only show in the top five not on Fox News, averaging 2.9 million viewers nightly.
Another year where CNN and MSNBC aren't number 1.
