Dems Brandish New Counterproposal In Social Security Fight: Tax The Rich

TPM on the Democrats plan to eliminate the cap on FICA taxes. What the Democrats will do for wealthy seniors like Warren Buffett so they will never have to take a cut in their Social Security benefits! In the name of fairness, we can never ask seniors who own their own homes outright and have pensions coming in to take a cut in benefits. We need poor young people who don't own a home to subsidize the Warren Buffett's of the world!
