The Toronto International Film Festival will premiere Roger Waters: The Wall, a concert film that the former Pink Floyd singer-songwriter made on various tour dates between 2010 and 2013, when he was playing his former group's 1980 double-album in its entirety, next month. The film is credited to Waters and the tour's fellow creative director, Sean Evans. Its synopsis promises an "exhilaratingly visceral experience" of rock showmanship as well as a platform to shine a light on the work's themes of war and loss as it follows Waters on the lengthy tour.More here.
