Houston home prices hit record high

The Houston Chronicle reports:
Houston's median home price hit an all-time high last month, as the market was boosted by seasonal buying, low interest rates and a tax incentive to spur sales.

The area's median price for a single-family home climbed to $164,500, up from $160,050 a year earlier, the Houston Association of Realtors said in its monthly housing report released today.
Imagine that.
