Illinois Comic Book Store Owner Shoots and Kills Robber

The Daily Herald reports:

One person is dead and another was wounded following a shooting inside a comic book store in Roselle this morning.

Police sources said a man with a gun entered the comic book store in the Village Commons Shopping Center in the 1200 block of Lake Street near Bryn Mawr Avenue around 10:30 a.m. today. Gunfire soon broke out, sources said.

The owner of the store was taken to an area hospital, sources said. The other man was shot multiple times and died at the scene.
