Cops: Robber thought government building was bank

The AP reports:
VIENNA, Austria -- A man mistook a government building in southern Austria for a bank and tried to rob it, police said.

The 34-year-old man thought a municipal building in the southern village of Poggersdorf was a bank because it had an automated teller machine in the lobby, said Hermann Klammer, head of the criminal division at Carinthia province's police department.
It's easy to understand this, the guy probably figured government building was the bank for the welfare state.
