Indiana

The Indianapolis Star reports:
Indiana stadium officials will pay $2,500 to the family of Baltimore Colts legend Johnny Unitas after trying to use the late quarterback's number to sell license plates.

The Indiana Stadium and Convention Building Authority approved the expense to Unitas Management Company at its meeting today, although the settlement does not admit that Indiana officials did anything wrong.
State officials raised $104,370 for the new Lucas Oil Stadium by auctioning 429 specialty license plates with the Colts logo.
The state of Indiana.
