Three booting bosses for the city's Department of Revenue saw their own cars booted Friday -- finally. That's the Chicago Way.
They're among a dozen parking enforcement employees now facing disciplinary action -- and suspensions as long as 30 days -- for piling up unpaid tickets.
Some of the tickets -- including $90 citations for red-light running -- are 3-1/2 years old. All have been outstanding for at least four months. Warning and "final determination" notices have been ignored. Most of the names were on the city's boot-eligible list, but somehow, they managed to avoid the boot.
