Jim Brady thanks Mayor Daley for banning hand guns in Chicago.
Brady, a native of Illinois, said Mayor Daley "has the right stuff when it comes to fighting for sensible gun laws in Illinois and across America. He's a real champion for the people of Chicago."
Obviously Jim Brady hasn't read the Illinois state Constitution particularily Article One
Section 22:
SECTION 22. RIGHT TO ARMS
Subject only to the police power, the right of the
individual citizen to keep and bear arms shall not be
infringed.
Mayor Daley doesn't feel limited by a constitution.
