Daley supporters planning downtown rally

The above Chicago Sun-Times headline could have read "How to tamper with a jury before jury selection begins":

Arguing that federal investigators probing City Hall corruption want to "attack our mayor and remove him from office," a group is attempting to organize a rally in support of Mayor Daley.

In an e-mail to the Chicago Sun-Times, chief organizer Nancy Curran said that neither Daley nor anyone around him urged her to organize the downtown rally this month. A date, time and place have not been announced.

No word yet on how many family members and friends Nancy Curran has on the city of Chicago payroll.
