Stealing at Work

The Boston Herald has a column on how government workers are having things stolen at work:
Taxpayers might feel like they're constantly getting ripped off by the state, but government workers are having their own pockets picked – at the office.
Sneaky thieves have been lifting laptops, cameras, wallets, pocketbooks and even shoes in a rash of robberies at state offices in downtown Boston – including several at the State House and One Ashburton Place. A Herald review of state police records found 22 thefts from state buildings in downtown Boston since Jan. 1, 2004
One has to wonder if this is more prevalent than in the private sector?
