Chicago Public Schools Spend $29,182 Per Pupil

The Chicago Tribune reports that Chicago's government school system spends $9.4 billion dollars with 322,106 students. You can't say Chicago's government schools are underfunded at $29,192 per pupil! This is way more than many wealthy school districts spend on government schooling.
