How quickly after the S&P 500 goes into a bear market does the bear end?

It depends. The fastest ever was 1 day in 1957. The longest ever was nearly 19 months in 2001-2002.
Down another 16% and about 5 more months of pain is the average the past 10 bear markets. pic.twitter.com/d79SzIkVFa
