The Falls Church School Board has voted unanimously to rename Thomas Jefferson Elementary School and George Mason High School. "Our schools must be places where all students, staff, and community members feel safe, supported, and inspired.”

Government schools feel threatened by the name Thomas Jefferson.

Terrible. As a Falls Church voter and father of two boys about to enter the school system, I abhor the cancelation of Jefferson and Mason—and my fellow city residents agreed by a 2:1 margin.
