Should any Harvard professor compare Donald Trump to Hitler given Harvard's close association with the Nazis? The Dean of Harvard Law School Roscoe Pound was very sympathetic to Nazi Germany according to historian Stephen Norwood:
Dean Pound was known to be sympathetic to Hitler... Pound spent part of his vacation in Nazi Germany during the summers of 1934, 1936, and 1937... He claimed the freedom of speech prevailed in the Third Reich... On his return to the United States, Pound expressed his admiration of Hitler in the New York Herald Tribune and claimed that in Nazi Germany " there was no persecution of Jewish scholars or of Jews... who lived in [Germany] for any length of time."You can't say that about Donald Trump.
