Comrade Ross, one of the true monsters of the 20th Century, is back in the news. America's top historian Philip Magness has uncovered more evidence the progressive top dog who spent much time at the University of Wisconsin was one influential racist.

Horrifying archival find this morning: Edward A. Ross, the progressive eugenicist who sparked the founding of the AAUP, blurbed the cover of a notorious 1925 white supremacist tract by his former student Earnest Sevier Cox.
