Scott Walker spends heavily on TV as Democrats scramble to raise cash

The Milwaukee Journal reports:
As the Democrats running for governor struggle to raise cash, GOP Gov. Scott Walker and an ally are filling the airwaves with ads.

Walker is in the middle of a $1.5 million ad campaign that began in May and has featured seven television spots. On Friday, a group bankrolled by industrialist brothers David and Charles Koch began spending what it says is more than $1 million on television, cable and digital ads championing the governor’s record.

In contrast, not one of the eight Democrats seeking to challenge Walker has gone on the air. That’s expected to change in the coming weeks, but the Democratic ads this summer will have less money behind them and will be focused on trying to get them through the Aug. 14 primary.
The Democrats always have CNN....
