Nancy MacLean has apparently started claiming that Buchanan absorbed confederate ideology at Middle Tennessee State, because it has a building named after Nathan Bedford Forrest. Buchanan graduated in 1940. Forrest Hall was not built until 1958. He must have had a time machine.
