Matt Lauer Google's Most-Searched Person in 2017; Melania Trump #7

Matt Lauer, who was fired from NBC’s “Today” show for inappropriate sexual behavior, was the most-searched person on Google in 2017, the Internet giant says.

Two other media personalities fired for sexual misconduct - movie mogul Harvey Weinstein (#4) and “House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey (#5) – also made the top 10 names searched globally on Google.

President Donald Trump did not make the top 10 – but, his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, was the seventh-most searched person on Google.
