President Donald Trump hyped the long-awaited release of long-sequestered federal government files on the JFK assassination in a tweet Wednesday.A Thursday to remember.
Trump, who has touted numerous conspiracy theories as a candidate and even as president, touted the 'long anticipated' release via Twitter on Wednesday – a day before the law requires their release absent a presidential finding.
'The long anticipated release of the will take place tomorrow. So interesting!' the president wrote.
The 1992 JFK Assassination Records Collection Act, signed by President George H.W. Bush, set a 25-year timetable for declassification of assassination records dealing with President Kennedy.
