British director reveals 'very powerful' executive ‘coerced' him into a sex act when he was teenager after claiming his career would be at risk if he didn't 'play along'

The Daily Mail reports:
A British theatre director has revealed a 'very powerful' figure in the industry 'coerced' him into a sex act by claiming his career would be destroyed if he didn't comply.

Sean Mathias, who has regularly worked with his former partner Sir Ian McKellen, said it was made 'perfectly clear' that his future in the industry would be harmed if he did not go along with the man's demands.

The director of Bent and No Man's Land, who started out as an actor, said he had been bullied when he was young for being effeminate, which had left him 'very frightened'.

Another Hollywood "advancement" story.
