An actress claimed Tuesday that George H.W. Bush groped her during a photo shoot – with Barbara Bush just feet away – and the former president later apologized, calling it an “attempt at humor.”Imagine that.
Heather Lind, 34, a star of “Turn: Washington’s Spies,” said the incident happened four years ago when Bush, now 93, and his wife met the cast.
“When I got the chance to meet George H. W. Bush four years ago to promote a historical television show I was working on, he sexually assaulted me while I was posing for a similar photo. He didn’t shake my hand. He touched me from behind from his wheelchair with his wife Barbara Bush by his side. He told me a dirty joke,” Lind wrote in the post, which was later deleted.
