A Queens state assemblywoman wants to strip President Trump's name off a state park and replace it with that of the Heather Heyer, the counter-protester mowed down at last month's Charlottesville, Va. hate rally. It makes leftists feel so much better to be so virtuous in renaming things.
"Heather Heyer's life was taken away by white supremacists who have been emboldened ever since President Trump took office," said Assemblywoman Nily Rozic, a Democrat.
Rozic has a bill that would order the state Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation to change the name of the Donald J. Trump State Park that straddles Westchester and Putnam counties to the Heather D. Heyer State Park.
