Politico reports:
Griffin has donated thousands of dollars to Franken and other Democratic politicians over the years, according to Federal Election Commission records. She donated to the campaigns of Democratic Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada in 2016 as well as Democratic Senate candidates Deborah Ross of North Carolina and Katie McGinty of Pennsylvania, who both lost last year.
The Cortez Masto campaign will donate the $1,000 received from Griffin to charity, an aide said Wednesday morning.
