A study looking at average salaries in several US cities suggests it may not be wise for techies to flock to San Francisco.Imagine that.
Hired's annual "Global State of Salaries Report" took average tech salaries across 11 US cities and factored in the cost of living in an area.
Although San Francisco tech workers have the highest nominal wages in the country ($134K annually), the study found that tech workers from nine other US cities are actually "better off."
