New Jersey Governor Chris Christie for attempting to hide the piling evidence that he knew of, if not encouraged, Bridgegate, a politically-motivated scheme that caused four days of gridlock on the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee. Christie’s allies were convicted for their role in the scheme after the seven-week trial, and Christie’s approval ratings have dropped to their lowest ever in the last half of the year.
