Gov't Workers Shower Clinton With Campaign Cash

IBD reports:
Big Government: It shouldn't come as a surprise that most federal government workers are backing the candidate who promises to make government bigger. Even so, the amount of money they're throwing at the Clinton campaign has frightening implications for the country.

An analysis by The Hill finds that federal workers have given about $2 million in campaign donations this election. And that 95% of it went to Clinton.

The breakdown by agency is even more illuminating. Of the 14 agencies, donations to Clinton topped 90% in all but two — the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs. Even there, however, the vast majority of donations went to Clinton — 84% and 88%, respectively.

Workers at the Department of Education gave 99.7% of their money to Clinton. Workers toiling at Labor and Agriculture gave 99.4% of their money to the Democrat.

How about the Department of Justice — you know, the folks that investigated the Clinton email scandal? They gave 97% of their money to Clinton. (And we're supposed to be surprised that the FBI investigation fizzled, or that Justice ignored various scandals during the Obama administration?)
The federal government as a patronage army.
