Shunned by his family and now living in the woods: Downfall of sex ban father-of-two who is forced to tell police 24 hours before he makes love - despite being CLEARED of rape

A father-of-two who has to inform the police 24 hours before he has sex with a new partner is now broke and living rough in woodland.

John O'Neill, 45, of York, was tried for rape and cleared after a retrial at Teesside Crown Court in November.

But police then controversially applied for a Sexual Risk Order (SRO), with a condition that he inform them 24 hours before he has sex with a new partner.

A judge will today decide whether to end the interim order or make it permanent, which Mr O'Neill, who used to attend a Fifty Shades of Grey-style fetish club, strongly opposes.
