Public defender whose home was raided returns to job

The Milwaukee Journal reports:
A well-known Milwaukee public defender is back on the job after a tactical squad police raid at his home, and his arrest at gunpoint, were resolved with tickets and a $50 fine.

Alejandro "Alex" Lockwood said he is relieved the matter is over, and for the support and confidence he was shown by his employer, the State Public Defender.

He said the whole experience was devastating and overkill by police, who he believes acted on a tip from a would-be informant with little track record of veracity.

Caledonia police arrested Lockwood, 52, at his home while serving a search warrant Feb. 5. His wife and two small children, as well as an adult daughter and her boyfriend, were all present in the home.
Can you say government overreach?
