President Obama said he's concerned over the future of the party he hopes to keep out of the White House. The President that comes from a one party town since 1931 is worried about the two-party system!
"The truth is actually I am worried about the Republican Party," Obama told Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show" in an interview scheduled to air Thursday night.
Obama said the country works with two parties that are "serious and trying to solve problems."
"And they've got philosophical differences and they have fierce debates and they argue and they contest elections," he said. "But at the end of the day, what you want is a healthy two-party system."
The president said the Republican presidential nominee should be someone who can do the job, understands the issues at hand, and "ultimately can still move the country forward."
