Bernie Sanders Attacks Rahm in Campaign Ad

The Chicago Tribune reports Bernie Sanders is on the attack:

Before Sanders’ arrival in Illinois, his campaign unveiled three new half-minute TV ads aimed at African-Americans and Latinos, including one that goes after Clinton and her relationship with Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who worked in the White House of her husband.

One ad, featuring Blaine Elementary School Principal Troy LaRaviere says, “In Chicago, we have endured a corrupt political system. And the chief politician standing in the way of us getting good schools is our mayor. If you have a presidential candidate that supports someone like our mayor, you have a candidate who is not willing to take on the establishment.”

Another ad features Cook County Commissioner Jesus “Chuy” Garcia, who unsuccessfully challenged Emanuel in the first runoff election for mayor last year. Garcia has served as a national surrogate for Sanders’ presidential campaign.
