Wisconsin sues federal government over provision in Affordable Care Act

The Milwaukee Journal reports:
Wisconsin has joined Texas and four other states in suing the federal government over a fee imposed by the Affordable Care Act on for-profit insurance companies that contract with state Medicaid programs.

The fee, or tax, was to help pay for the cost of expanding coverage under the law.

States must reimburse the insurance companies, or managed-care organizations, for the fee.
