‘Nobody likes him’: Trump doubles down on Cruz amid ongoing beef

The New York Post reports:

Donald Trump ratcheted up his attacks on New York-bashing rival Ted Cruz on Sunday, branding him a “nasty guy” and “total hypocrite” — as Big Apple Democrats heaped rare praise on the Republican tycoon for his broadsides against his fellow GOPer.

“Nobody likes him,” Trump said on ABC’s “This Week.” “Nobody in Congress likes him. Nobody likes him anywhere once they get to know him. . . . You can’t make deals with people like that, and it’s not a good thing. It’s not a good thing for the country. Very nasty guy.”
