Trump cites 'sickness' in defense of Muslim immigration ban proposal

The Washington Examiner reports:
Donald Trump referenced "a sickness" among Muslims Sunday while defending his controversial call to halt immigration by members of the faith to the United States.

"They're sick people. There's sickness going on," Trump said on Fox News after he was asked why he would bar entry to all Muslims rather than focusing on countries linked to terrorism.

"There's a group of people that's very sick, and we have to figure out the answer," Trump said. "And the Muslims can help us figure out the answer."

It wasn't clear from the remarks if Trump was calling all Muslims or just those who support terrorism sick.
The Donald.
