S.F. elections could chart course of change in booming city

The San Francisco Chronicle reports:
It seems as if every conversation in San Francisco lately eventually ends up in the same place: how much and how fast the tech boom is changing the city.

On Tuesday, election day, voters will get the chance to make known how they want that change managed.

While Mayor Ed Lee is expected to win re-election easily to a second full term, the election has to some degree become a referendum on his policies, especially those that have encouraged tech businesses to locate in the city, touching off the current housing crisis. The most competitive races are the election for District Three supervisor and a measure to pause construction of market-rate housing in the Mission.
The one party town goes to the polls.
