LGBT Activists Want To Cancel The Super Bowl

The Daily Caller reports:
After Houston voters shot down an ordinance that would have further provided nondiscrimination rights for gay and transgender people, LGBT activists have called for an economic boycott of the city, including pressuring the NFL to move the 2017 Super Bowl from Houston’s NRG Stadium.

“Under the defeated ordinance, local businesses that discriminate against various classes of people — including transgender people using whatever bathroom they want — would face fines up to $5,000,” reports The Daily Caller’s Eric Owens.

“Religious leaders have been so successful at dehumanizing transgender people there, that its only a matter of time before some vigilante kills another transgender woman, just for using the bathroom,” said transgender military veteran Brynn Tannehill in response to the vote.

“The NFL claims to respect the human dignity of all their fans,” and the only sensible solution would be to move the Super Bowl “to a location where people like me are not put in mortal danger every time we need to use the bathroom.”
