Hype Line reports:
An annual social justice roundtable on labor, diversity, and inclusion at the prestigious Cornell University prominently displayed cartoons portraying the GOP as “Jihadi John” and the Republican elephant sexually assaulting a woman.Who can forget that 97% of Cornell faculty donate to Democrats? Cornell uses artwork to "marginalize" registered Republicans on campus. Don't Republican lives matter?
The labor roundtable event, which took place on November 13th, was organized by the Ivy League University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) with the intention of connecting “students with union and social justice representatives.”
According to Rachel Aleks, assistant professor in the Department of Labor Relations, Law, and History, the ILR event provided “undergraduate and graduate students with an opportunity to gain exposure to the labor movement and understand the crucial role it plays in bringing about change,”
The event, which included representatives from the Chicago Teachers Union, International Brotherhood of Teamsters, and SAG-AFTRA, also featured political art from Huck/Konopacki.
