Why is Dianne Feinstein's Husband on The Board of Regents of University of California? The Many Conflicts of the Expert At Selling Post Offices.

The L.A. Times reports on Senator Dianne Feinstein's husband:
Regent Richard Blum said he and his wife, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), believe that students who behave in racist, anti-Semitic or other biased ways should face penalties such as suspension or expulsion. If the university does not adopt strong enough rules, he said, Feinstein would publicly criticize UC.
So, Dianne votes on the Department of Education budget. Some of that money winds up at the University of California system. Husband Richard keeps an eye on the federal heist by making threats if Dianne's views don't prevail. This is how progressives think a university should be funded and managed: by good old nepotism! The conflicted world of Richard Blum, Dianne Feinstein, and the University of California. This is the same Richard Blum that sells off postal buildings (nice work if you can get it).
