A new Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday found voters gave de Blasio his worst marks ever — with the percentage who disapprove of him rising from 40% to 44%. The number who approve of the mayor has held steady at 44% since May.
“This is bad for de Blasio,” said the Quinnipiac Poll’s assistant director, Maurice Carroll.
The mayor has suffered from a disappointing legislative session in Albany that spurred his split with Gov. Cuomo and lost face when he backed down in his clash with Uber.
