So-so economy dogs Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Mediocre growth numbers under Obama dampen Clinton’s message on jobs and wages.

Politico reports:
Hillary Clinton’s advisers breathed a sigh of relief on Thursday as the federal government reported that the economy grew at 2.3 percent over the last three months, a modest bounce back from a first quarter that nearly flat-lined.

But the report was hardly a blockbuster and underscored that the former secretary of state, should she secure the Democratic nomination, will likely be running in a middling economy that will boast low unemployment but also tepid growth and persistently stagnant wages.

Some people aren't happy with thought of another 4 years of 2% GDP growth.
