Tim Tebow bill passes in Alabama House of Representatives

USA Today reports:
The Alabama House of Representatives passed the “Tim Tebow Act” by a vote of 52-43 Thursday, which seeks to give homeschooled children the ability to play sports at public schools. Tebow, now a quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, was homeschooled in Florida but played football at Allen D. Nease High School. Alabama, however, is one of many states that currently do not allow homeschooled students to join public school teams.
Homeschoolers flex their muscles.
