Boss Madigan calls vote next week to tax millionaires in Illinois : Democrats Look to Change Constitution to Confiscate More Money Out of Millionaires.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports:

Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan has called for a House vote on whether to tax millionaires in Illinois.

It’s only the latest in a series of votes that Madigan has called in his chamber that aim to pulverize Gov. Bruce Rauner’s Turnaround Agenda which takes aim at unions, urging reform in worker’s compensation laws and seeks tort reform. Rauner, himself a multi-millionare, has opposed a constitutional amendment that would add a 3 percent surcharge on incomes greater than $1 million saying it makes Illinois less competitive.

Boss Madigan wants more money for his failed leadership.
