Help Obama Fight Climate Change: Tell the GOP Congress to abolish the Departments of Energy , Education, and HUD plus SBA, and EPA. Getting Rid of 40% of the Federal Workforce Will Save Energy.

The AP reports:

Under an executive order signed by Obama, the government must cut its emissions of the heat-trapping gases blamed for global warming by 40 percent, compared to 2008 levels — a move the White House said could save taxpayers up to $18 billion in electricity costs.

Help Barack Obama. Demand that the GOP Congress cut whole federal government departments and agencies. Every HUD bureaucrat laid off, is one HUD bureaucrat not flying to a conference on urban development. Just imagine how big HUD's electric bill is ! If we are serious about saving the environment , let's cut the federal workforce by 40% and help Barack Obama achieve his goal. After all, the federal government is a big waster of energy : greedy monopolies don't care about the environment.
