Indonesian official says missing AirAsia jet is believed to be at the bottom of the sea

The Washington Post reports:
A second day’s search for a missing AirAsia plane yielded little as hope for survivors grew ever dimmer.

An Indonesian helicopter saw two oily spots on Monday afternoon, but search officials said it is too early to know whether either was connected to the missing aircraft.

Indonesian authorities said they believe the commercial jet already lies at the bottom of the sea.
