Rahm's Failure: Less People Employed in Chicago Than In 2001
Crain's Chicago Business on the chart that shows Rahm Emanuel's failure at leading a city that creates normal job growth. No word yet on this story from the "minimum wage" boosters: after all the minimum wage was lower in 2001 in Chicago than in 2014. It appears that the "scientific" evidence is in for Chicago, higher minimum wages produced less jobs. Do you want to be a science denier? Those who want to claim great things from higher minimum wages laws also have to accept the cold hard truth that Chicago had 100,000 more jobs with a lower minimum wage in 2001.
