Political guru Nate Silver is usually right. He's probably the best out there today.But, when he's given bad polls : there's not much he can do with the numbers. In 2010, he predicted Pat Quinn would lose the Illinois Governor's race: Quinn won. In 2014, Silver predicted Pat Quinn would win : Quinn lost to novice Republican Bruce Rauner. There's a world of difference between polls for President and polls for Governors races. The Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago Tribune might want to get better pollsters in Illinois because you could hardly blame Nate Silver by the way Pat Quinn polled before elections.
