Fewer women work on Wall Street

Crain's New York Business reports:
Women have 40% of jobs in the securities industry, according to 2013 data from the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, down from 42% in 2007.

The dominance of men in the highest, best-paying positions has also grown more pronounced. Women hold 18% of senior-level jobs in the securities business, according to the EEOC, down from 20% in 2007. White men hold 74% of those jobs, up slightly from 73% seven years ago.
No word yet on when the EEOC is going to look into to the fact that America's Women's Studies Departments don't have many males, registered Republicans , or evangelical Christians working in their departments.
