Dick Durbin Wants Central Planning of the College Textbook Industry : Calls For Affordable College Textbook Act

Senator Dick Durbin has taken to Twitter for his new socialist scheme of centrally planning the production of textbooks. Just a reminder, Senator Durbin and his greedy rent-seeking wife caused the problem of high textbook prices by subsiding the higher tuition via the federal government. Dick votes directly on the ever expanding Department of Education budget (pushing up college tuitions) while Loretta "scams" state of Illinois taxpayers as a lobbyist for Eastern Illinois University all enriching the Durbins. No word yet on whether Dick Durbin's wife or son will become a lobbyist for textbook companies in the name of altruism and the "public interest".
