Democratic poll: Kay Hagan lead narrows

Politico reports:
A new survey from Democratic robopollster Public Policy Polling finds North Carolina Sen. Kay Hagan’s lead down to four points, a slight tightening of what last month was a seven-point advantage for the Democratic incumbent.

Hagan is leading GOP challenger Thom Tillis, 42 percent to 38 percent, in a race that is being closely watched as the parties fight for control of the Senate next year. Libertarian Sean Haugh continues to draw significant support, holding on to 8 percent of the vote.

Close, very close.
