550 Chicago Public School Teachers Laid Off

The Chicago Tribune reports:

Roughly 1,100 Chicago Public Schools employees, including 550 teachers, are being laid off because of declining enrollment, officials said Thursday.

Will gentry liberals like Rahm Emanuel start sending their kids to Chicago public schools to help out the "experiment"?
